Athanasios Andrikopoulos
Professor
Athanasios Andrikopoulos is a Professor of Topology and Quantitative Methods in Economic Theory and Computer Science at Computer Engineering and Informatics Department - CEID - of Patras' University, Greece. He also teaches Mathematics at School of Social Sciences at Hellenic Open University as adjunct academic staff. He graduated and received his PhD degree from the University of Patras. His research interests include Topology and its applications in Economic Theory, Game Theory, Computer Science, Social Choice Theory, Graph Theory and Domain Theory. He has published more than 45 articles in international Journals (32 as single author) in international peer-reviewed Journals, a few have been cited -inter alia- in eight important books, i.e. "Handbook of the History of General Topology" & "A Probability Metric Approach to Financial Measures".

Nikolaos Sampanis is a PhD Candidate at Computer Engineering and Informatics Department - CEID - of Patras' University, Greece. He also teaches at CEID as a teaching aide via tutorial lessons. He is a Lecturer at Computing School at Mediterranean College in Athens (University of Derby). He graduated from Kapodistrian University of Athens and received his Master degree from Hellenic Open University. His research interests include General and Algebraic Topology, Quantum Topology, Topological Data Analysis, Computer Science, Social Choice Theory, Decision Making Theory in AI, Fuzzy Logic and Ergodic Theory. He has translated the handbook CALCULUS of J. Rogawski-C. Adams-R. Franzosa in Greek.

Alexandros - Marios Afratis is a 4th Year Undergraduate Student at Computer Engineering and Informatics Department - CEID - of Patras' University, Greece (Integrated M.Sc. Diploma Program). He is also a Laboratory Assistant and a Researcher at CEID. His general research interests embrace Mathematical Foundations of Computer Science, Intelligent Computing Systems & Big Data Analysis. His particular research interests focus on Topological Data Analysis, Signal Processing & Graph Theory.
